Design that does more than look right

Interfaces engineered to convert, retain, and scale — backed by research and built to ship.

Praxvon's UI/UX practice designs interfaces for the people who actually use them — power users with 8-hour days, not first-time visitors who'll click once. We design dense, keyboard-aware multi-role panels, and the brand sites that bring traffic in. Designers and engineers sit at the same table.

Brief

Pretty mockups are easy. Interfaces that survive real users — across browsers, screen sizes, accessibility constraints, and edge cases nobody thought about — are not. Most design work falls apart at the seam between Figma and production.

Praxvon designs in the medium of the final product. Components are validated in code, motion is tested in browsers, and design systems ship with documentation and Storybook entries. Designers and engineers are the same team, not a handoff.

What's included

01

Product Design

End-to-end design for SaaS dashboards, mobile apps, and web platforms — from user research through high-fidelity prototypes.

02

Design Systems

Component libraries, tokens, and documentation that let your team ship consistent interfaces without reinventing the button every sprint.

03

Motion & Interaction

Micro-interactions, page transitions, and motion design that gives interfaces personality — without sacrificing performance.

04

UX Research

User interviews, usability testing, and analytics dives that ground design decisions in evidence rather than opinion.

How we work

Step 01

Research

Stakeholder interviews, user calls, and competitive teardowns. We design for users we've actually talked to.

Step 02

Design & Validate

High-fidelity prototypes tested with real users. We catch the broken flows before engineering builds them.

Step 03

Ship & Iterate

Designers stay involved through implementation. We tweak, polish, and validate against analytics post-launch.

Section 01

Marketing UX vs workday UX — the gap most agencies miss

Consumer-style UX optimizes the first ten minutes of an app's life — onboarding, conversion, delight. B2B power users live in your product after the honeymoon, eight hours a day, for years. Their requirements look like the opposite of a marketing site: information density, keyboard shortcuts, dense tables, undo over confirm-dialogs, performance that never falls below instant.

Moditra's primary cutting workspace went through three redesigns before it landed on a packed three-column layout because that's what power users actually want. The full reasoning is in our B2B SaaS architecture post.

Section 02

Design systems we actually deliver

Tokens + primitives + composed components + documentation, shipped together. Tokens encode brand decisions (color, type scale, motion, spacing). Primitives are accessibility-correct (radix-style headless or shadcn-style copy-paste). Composed components solve domain problems (data tables, forms, multi-step flows). Documentation is the part most design systems quietly drop — we don't.

We choose the technical layer to match the team. Storybook + Tailwind for React teams. Style Dictionary for tokens when multi-platform exports matter. Figma libraries that stay in sync with the code via Tokens Studio rather than drifting silently.

Section 03

Research that respects your stakeholders' time

User research delivers value when it's targeted and fast. Discovery sprints (3–5 days, 8–12 user calls, hypothesis-driven) beat months of unstructured ethnography. Usability tests on click-through prototypes catch the broken flows before engineering builds them. Analytics dives ground design changes in measurable outcomes.

We don't do research theater — focus groups for things that won't ship, persona posters for documents nobody reads. Every research artifact we deliver gets used in a design decision within a week of being created.

FAQ

Do you build the design system in Figma or in code?

Both, in sync. Figma is the source of intent (designers explore there). Code is the source of truth (engineers ship there). Tokens flow from Figma to code via Tokens Studio or a similar pipeline so neither side drifts. We don't deliver Figma-only systems that engineers then re-implement guess-by-guess.

Can you work from our existing brand?

Yes. Many engagements start with an existing identity that needs product-level extension — type scale, motion language, dense-data treatments, accessibility patches. We respect the brand foundation and extend it into the surfaces the brand team didn't design for.

How do you handle multi-role / multi-tenant UI?

Role-based interfaces are a UX problem before they're an engineering one. Different roles need different default views, different permission hints, different empty states. We design each role as if it were a separate product, then unify the shared components — see Moditra's customer / modelist / admin design as a concrete example.

Do you do user research?

Yes, when it'll change a decision. Sprint-style: 3–5 days, 8–12 conversations, hypothesis-driven. We won't run research for political cover, and we'll tell you when we think a research phase isn't worth the time.

Will the engineers actually implement what you design?

Yes, because the engineers are the same team. There's no Figma-to-Jira handoff where intent goes to die. Designers and engineers code-review each other's work. The dense data tables you see in Figma exist as Storybook stories before the product ships.

What's your turnaround for a SaaS dashboard redesign?

Discovery + new IA + key screens at high-fidelity: 3–4 weeks. Full design system + migration plan: 6–8 weeks. Shipping the implementation: depends on the codebase. We scope from your real screens, not a generic project plan.

Need design that ships?

We work with product teams who want their design system to be more than a Figma file.
